Q: An independent war film, isn't that hard to make?
A: Yes, very much yes. There are so many more things you have to overcome versus a drama set in someone's apartment. First the look of the film (costumes, set design, etc) are going to cost you an arm and leg, plus you have to buy arms and legs! The biggest expense so far was a year of collecting props. I must be on a FBI list.

Q: Hey! WWII was over long before 1953, right?
A: Your right, this is a fiction film. Everything is a spin off of WWII or is totally fictional. Your right!

Q: Why not just make a WWII film?
A: Collecting historic props is about 500-1000% more expensive. I would LOVE to make a historic film, but i need a huge raise... or a budget.

Q: Where did you get your guns?
A: Look under the weapons section in the War Film Tutorials heading.

Q: Why not use real guns?
A: Expensive, and unless you have a real budget you should NOT use real guns or even guns that use blanks!!! I can't stress that enough..... Blanks can still kill you!!!!! And contact the police if your going be in public even with fake guns. Baltimore cops will shoot you first, ask questions second. But your dead so it doesn't matter.

Q: When will your film be done?
A: August 08. There are a TON of effects shots to create, then we will enter festivals for the following year.

Q: How long were you in preproduction?
A: A little over a year, there were some large breaks but it was always on my mind. The last couple of months it became a second job. Every night i was on the phone fixing problems fixing some other random problem.

Q: How many versions of the script were done?
A: 17 plus the 18th on set. 19th in post. I'm very glad we didn't shoot an earlier version! -edit- Re-editing now so tack on another version. :)

Q: What did you shoot with?
A: Cannon XL1-s with a manual lens. The entire film was shot using a Fig Rig for camera "support".

Q: What are you editing and creating effects with?
A: Final Cut Pro, Shake, After Effects, Motion, Effects Lab Pro

Q: How did you do XXXXX effect?
A: Check the Tutorials section, if you don't see it there email me.

Q: Are you going to Sundance?
A: HAHAHA I hope :D

Q: Your website sucks.
A: That is not a question and I don't mind. I went to school to make films not websites. I milk cows not goats. SNAP!
